Guide
The Midgard Colosseum
Three of your heroes against three of another player’s, any time: you build the formation and it defends on its own, even with the game closed. The arena has its own rules: nobody dies in one hit, and the weaker side always scratches.
A fight, from above
Three of your heroes on one side, three of another player’s on the other. Nobody walks over: the six stand in two lines and the fight happens there, in up to 90 s.
×
The line comes from the hero: ranged (range 190 or more) or support stays back; everyone else goes front. Melee hits only reach the back line once the front falls, and melee area hits don’t pass over it either. A team with nobody in front gives its mages away in the first second.
The three roles
Each hero’s role comes from what it is, at fight time; there’s nothing to set.
- Tank — draws 70% of enemy attention.
- Support — heals whoever is worst off, and always fights from the back.
- Damage — everyone else. What sets damage classes apart is their range and the skill they bring.

The formation
You pick 3 heroes from your account and save. That formation attacks and also defends when another player picks you, even with the game closed. Saving takes a picture of the team (class, level, attributes, skills and gear); changing gear later doesn’t change it: save again to update.
Anyone absent for 14 days leaves other players’ opponent lists.
How the fight works
You pick an opponent from the list and the fight is resolved from first to last blow before the screen shows anything. What you watch is the replay, so the result is the same for both sides.
If the clock runs out with no team down, whoever has more total HP left wins. An exact tie doesn’t move Rating, and the entry is spent anyway.
Arena rules
Out in the world, an endgame hero’s damage reaches hundreds of times another hero’s HP. In the Colosseum damage is compressed: the power gap still wins most fights, but it stops being an off switch.
What the arena caps
- No hit takes more than 25% of a hero’s HP; area hits, 15%.
- No hero loses more than 30% of HP per second, even with all three on him.
- Crits happen on at most 50% of hits and multiply by at most 1.75×. Outside the arena they have no cap: it’s the biggest difference between the two rule sets.
- Damage reduction caps at 50% and reflection at 30%. A heal restores at most 25% of HP.
What the arena guarantees
- Every hit takes at least 0.5% of HP: the weaker side always scratches the stronger.
- Every attack has between 30% and 95% chance to hit. Magic never misses.
- Attack cadence stays between 0.5 s and 1.5 s per hit.
- Arena Wound: after 30 s of fighting, all healing received drops 10% every 5 s, down to 30%.
None of this applies outside the Colosseum. The arena reads your numbers and never rewrites them.
Rating and divisions
Everyone starts at 1,000. You gain and lose Rating by attacking, and also when your formation is attacked, at 50% of the effect. Beating someone above you is worth more; beating someone far below is worth less.

| Division | Rating | Title |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | up to 949 | Midgard Wanderer |
| Silver | 950 – 1,049 | Valkyrie’s Chosen |
| Gold | 1,050 – 1,149 | Bifrost Sentinel |
| Platinum | 1,150 – 1,249 | Heir of Loki |
| Diamond | 1,250 – 1,399 | Hammer of Thor |
| Legendary | 1,400 or more | Einherjar of Valhalla |
When the league turns, Rating is pulled 40% of the way back toward 1,000: those who climbed start the next ahead, but not too far ahead.
Opponents
The list lasts 30 minutes and looks first for players near your Rating; while you have fewer than 5 fights in the league, also near your Power.
- You won’t meet the same opponent again within 6 hours, and the same pair can’t fight more than 3 times per week.
- Banned, blocked or inactive players don’t appear.
- If your bracket is short of players, Specters fill in: real formations from other players, anonymous. They count for Rating and Medals, don’t show in the ranking, and only 2 Specter fights count per day.
Colosseum Medals
The arena’s currency, earned only inside it and spent at the Colosseum shop (boxes, materials and cosmetics, each with a weekly limit; never coupons).

League rewards
When the league ends the board freezes and, 24 hours later, rewards are delivered: Medals go straight to your Colosseum wallet and zeny arrives by Mail, with 30 days to collect. You get the reward of the division you finish in, plus its title and the division frame for your player card.
